Tiger on Eiger

Largest artwork in the world
A 5,3 km large Tiger projected onto the Swiss Mountain Eiger North Face near Grindelwald for the Year of the Tiger on 1st February 2022 and the opening of the Olympic Winter Games in China in Beijing on 4th February 2022.
It took Gerry Hofstetter 22 trials within one year to have the perfect constellation of weather, snow, sunrise, moon, and stars to realise this. It will never happen again to have these incredible and complicated weather conditions for a 5 Minutes time slot to get the perfect picture.
Gerry’s message was: The tiger lives in 13 countries in Asia. It is threatened with extinction. If we humans manage to protect the tigers, we know that we can protect everything on our planet.
